EN: Hello, my dears! Because it was Christmas time I went to my grandparents in a little country near Hateg. That place makes me so calm and happy everytime I go there because I am surrounded by good people with a big heart. It’s like a completely different world. We tend to go visit other countries, but we forgot about ours. There are so many beautiful places that we don’t know about.
On the first day of Christmas in the evening it was snowing and a bunch of people entered our courtyard singing, it was a magic Christmas! There are few places nowadays where everyone sings carols. I consider myself lucky to have such a place to go to on Christmas and not only.
I always have my camera with me so I took some pictures in that awesome place that few people know about. A frozen river, frozen braches, cold atmosphere with a white “look”. For me it was a “Winter Wonderland” !
RO: Buna, dragilor!
Because is the time when everyone gives and receives presents, I wanted to share with you some DIY gift ideas for family, friends or just to decorate your house. I hope you like them!
RO: Craciun fericit, dragilor!
EN: Merry almost Christmas my dears! Christmas holiday is almost here and I`m more and more enthusiast abut it. I must admit that not only I made the tree but I also did the shopping! Me and my boyfriend bought each other the Christmas gifts since Rome and that was like two weeks ago, haha.
I don`t know about you, but since the 1st of December I start to buy a lot of Christmas decorations and gifts. That month I listen to carols all days long, that crazy I know, I`m kind of obsessed with this holiday but I like it. It is that time when everyone gives, try to be better and let`s not forget about lights! Let the lights change the city! Every evening when I`m driving I admire the lights and sing carols, it became like a tradition .
I wanted to show you some pictures took during the “Tree Operation” and how everything turned out after so much work. Enjoy!
Enjoy!
Because it was the 1st of December, Romania`s Day, I had a few more free days, so me and my boyfriend decided to go on a little trip to Rome. We stayed at a hotel next to the Vatican City, so it was the first thing we had visited in the morning and we were amazed! The Vatican Museums and St. Peter`s Basilica are definetely worth to be seen.
After three hours of visiting the Vatican, we went further to the Castel Sant`Angelo where we just took some pictures and continued our way to the Pantheon, than the Vittorio Emanuele II, which was such a big building made by Mussolini we could see all the city, and last but not least, the Colosseum. We`d heard that the Colosseum is very beautiful seen at night, but unfortunately when we arrived it was closed, so we took some pictures and decided to go see the Fontana di Trevi, which I also reccomend you to see in the night, when the lights are on.
On the second day we went first to see the Colosseum because there were a lot of people staying in queues that we couldn`t risk not seeing it again. Then we found out that the ticket we`d bought for the Colosseum was valid for the Roman Forum too, so we went to see it.
All in all, Rome is an amazing city and I will go there again with any occasion. So, if you want to go on a trip and don`t know where, try Rome!
